In the fall of 1945, an RAF officer and electronics Member of the British Interplanetary Society, Arthur C. Clarke wrote a short article in Wireless World, which describes the use of satellites in orbit is open 24 hours on the earthly world to distribute mass television programs. His article apparently had little lasting effect, although Clarke repeated the story in its space exploration from 1951 to 1952.
